Don’t miss out, book your place now for another great College of Mediators Approved CPD and networking day.
- 9.30 am – Introductions and Networking
- 10 am – Understanding Myers Briggs Types (MBTI) and how it can be useful to mediators – Nicola King @ ThinkResolve – Myers and Briggs developed their tool to help people identify their communication preferences and the resulting impact on interactions with others more than 50 years ago. Since then it has been subject to rigorous research and evaluation and is still the most widely used psychometric tool worldwide. When mediating, Nicola uses her knowledge of her own preferences and identifies clues in the parties’ style and behaviours that can be exploited to help find a resolution. In this session, she will introduce the 4 dichotomies and the resulting 16 types. She will then explain how these types can contribute to conflict and support us when helping others to find their resolutions.11 am – Virtual Break
