REFERRING A CASE
Before making a referral, please ensure you take the following steps:
- Inform all involved parties that they will be referred for mediation or conflict coaching and advise them to expect contact from Solution Talk.
- Arrange for an interpreter if needed by any involved party (can be arranged by Solution Talk at an additional cost).
- Provide a purchase order number or the name of the person who has authorised the referral.
- Complete our referral form. If you don’t have one, please contact us for a copy.
- Request a copy of our mediation or conflict coaching leaflet to distribute to all involved parties.
What Solution Talk will do:
Upon receiving your referral, we will take the following actions:
- Within 24 hours, we will initiate contact with all involved parties to schedule individual private sessions. We will keep you updated with the details and assign mediators to the case.
- We will organise additional individual sessions, joint meetings, or shuttle meetings as needed.
- We will provide regular updates on the progress of the case to both you and the involved parties.
- After approximately 8 weeks, we will follow up with all parties involved in the closed case.
- We will agree on the pricing for your case before commencing any work.
PRICING INFORMATION
- Cases involving up to 3 parties are priced as one case. Cases with 4-6 parties are charged as 2 cases, and for disputes with 7 or more parties prices are available upon request.
- Pricing for Service Level Agreements and various mediation services (Community, Workplace, Family Relationships, SENDs, Tenant/Landlord, Restorative Justice, Complaints/Conflict Coaching) are available upon request.
- Online and telephone mediation/coaching pricing is also available upon request.
- Workplace Neutral Assessment prices start from £695 per day and include a follow-up report with recommendations.
- Additional fees for expenses and extra hours will be invoiced separately, payable within 28 days of the invoice date. Any additional fees will be agreed in advance.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the mediation meeting will incur a charge of 50% of the agreed fee, while cancellations made 15 days or more in advance will incur a 25% charge.
